Cup Series races in his career, including three this year. And this past Sunday, he won a second

NASCAR Cup Series championship. I'm talking about Kyle Larson.

Kyle, you and I spoke in June, but I had to run you down and take another shot after you took down your second series championship.

Yeah, thanks first for having me on here.

Yeah, I would say it's sunk in now.

I would say not, you know, right away just for how kind of shocking the finish went for me

and how we got the championship.

But yeah, I know it's been good.

We've done a lot of celebrating.

We got to, you know, have our banquet and celebrate the season on

Tuesday night. And that was kind of the thing I think that really allowed us all to, to realize

it was a real life thing that happened and pretty awesome. It did happen. Caldarson's joining us.

I was going to ask you about how it ended. For those who missed it and those who did see it,

the race featured some serious drama in the desert. It looked like Denny Handlin was on his way to winning that title, but there was that late caution flag with three laps left. When you went to Pitt Road during the caution, can you take us through how things played out when you opted to go for just two tires while Danny's team went for four.
