NASA has announced the Mars helicopter, Ingenuity, has taken its last flight.

The little helicopter first arrived on Mars in 2021,

along with the Perseverance Rover,

and since then has taken 72 flights,

way longer than the planned 30-day mission,

scoping out craters and riverbeds

But during a recent flight, the rover lost
