Hi friends, this May Smash Boom Best is collaborating with the poetry podcast The Slowdown

on a week of awesome episodes featuring the words and rhymes of kids who write,

rap, and sing about their lives.

And we want to feature your words on the show.

So here's a challenge.

Write a high coup, that's a tiny poem, about something huge, the big bang.

A woolly mammoth.

Whatever strikes you as massive and maybe massively cool,

high coups have a special format.

They have five syllables in the first line, seven syllables in the second,

and five syllables in the third.

A syllable is one beat or sound in a word.

So the word fart is one syllable.

The word often is two.

So if I had to use those two words to start a high coup, it might go something like this.
