Nathan is a narrative painter originally from Northern California.

Nathan received his BFA from the Lyme Academy and his MFA from Tufts University and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts Boston.

He also studied at the Florence Academy of Art in Italy and in St. Petersburg, Russia.
