NYPD. So yesterday, Nuresh Bhat had his court appearance, and they waived the preliminary hearing,

which has his defense basically say that they're ready to go right to trial,

so that this case is sort of, there is strategic moves by his defense, but the prosecution

didn't object to it. So the prosecution is collecting their evidence in the case against accused murderer,

Naresh Bhatt, who was back in court yesterday, in the murder of his wife, Mammtabat.

But at this point, he's not being charged with that.

Court documents in the case of missing Manassas Park mother,

Monta Kaffelbat, alleged her husband, Nuresh Bat, murdered her in their home before dragging

her out and concealing her body on or around July 30th. Those documents were made public Friday

as Noresh made his first court appearance after his arrest Thursday,

facing one charge of concealment of a dead body.

A judge ruled he will remain behind bars through at least this weekend.

During that hearing, he requested court-appointed counsel and the use of a translator

saying he's not very fluent in English. 37-year-old Russian, 28-year-old Momsta are both from Nepal.

The Manassas Park Police Department says, but was last seen on July 27th. Now they returned to the home to on Tuesday to conduct another search warrant
