All right, out to the office for a second. I had to go to my truck to get something and then I literally had a thought because I must have been asked this, I don't know, 15 times a month.

What's scary about a lot of the things that I'm going to cover right,

actually not one topic I'm going to cover today very quickly,

is that this is such basic knowledge, like such basic stuff that people need to know.

You actually have people who have SOPs, writing SOPs, attorneys, police legal advisors who literally don't

know any of this stuff. Here's the most simple one. If a dog that sniffs for the odor of narcotics alerts on a vehicle,

you can search the entire car, bumper to bumper and everything in between.

Why? Because probable cause United States v. Place when it was

established formerly the US Supreme Court when a dog

alerted for the presence of narcotics.

And I think of the line right.

I just don't top my head.

I remember what they said in that case was,

the dog sniff is up to snuff when he alerts.

Because the only one thing that dog does is sniff and give an alert

whether or not he smells one of the odors that he or she's trained on. Okay? So if

somebody's telling you like, oh the dog hit hit on the door, you can search the door.

Oh, the dog hits on the front quarter panel, you can search the quarter panel.
