I want to see if we can go behind the scenes or go underground, if you will, and talk about some of the

things that actually drive the narcissists to be what they are. One of the things that I hope that you can truly understand

and appreciate is narcissists, despite the fact that they want to present themselves as being the

standard bearers of all that's right and proper and good, are desperately insecure. They're

desperately needy on the inside. Now, again, they do not want you to know that. They won't even admit it to themselves, but there are so many evidences to the contrary that that's something we're going to need to look at and understand. Narcissists want you to think you're a deeply problematic, you're a deeply troubled kind of person,

when in fact they carry all sorts of unfinished business on the inside of themselves.
