Naomi where's your head at right now?

Not in my book I'll say I finished the book tour for

for Doppelganger kind of just at the moment that that this surge of extreme violence was exploding in Israel and Palestine.

And so I sort of forget, did I write a book, but I'm happy to talk about Doppelganger if I can remember what's in it.

But yeah, like you, my head has been in another part of the world.

All of us, and what's the predominant emotion you feel about the war?

Devastated to be witnessing this decimation and loss of life. I feel like the world has gone

completely mad.

I've been focused on calls for a ceasefire which is not a I thought was not a radical demand

but but we've seen it be very deliberately equated with surrender. It is not that, it's never

been that. It is just a recognition that if the goal is to defeat Hamas leveling Gaza is something totally

different and you know I think the goal of this is is is quite clearly to make

Gaza unlivable.

I've just been calling for a ceasefire

with all my might, but feeling very weak,

like I don't have much might, which I don't.
