I am Tamara Griffin, and this week we're talking both U.S. Women's National Team and the NWSL.

First, a new roster is out. You know we got to break it down. Surprises, low and behold,

are in there. And we're going to be talking about that. Who's in, who we're excited about, who's out?

What our questions are as we head into these games where the U.S. will play China and Jamaica on May 31st and June 3rd, respectively. And then we're pivoting to the NWSL because somehow it's already been nine weeks. And this feels like a good time to check in. We're going to have a conversation with Asla Pellet and, of course, my co-os, Meg Linnahan, about who's standing out to us, maybe make some gentle light predictions about MVP, rookies, surprises and disappointments, you know, the typical stuff.

And of course, we'll want to hear from you, anything that we haven't discussed or any thoughts you have about that.

But I am joined as always by my co-host, Meg, how are you doing? I'm good. I need to, like, start a tracker of things that get me to absolutely crack. And, lo and behold, is going to be like entry number one. Wow, an honor. Because I know you've seen some things. I know. I know. It's just, yeah, it's good. It's, I feel like, I don't know, we're very much in the season grind by this point. It's only May, but we are very much in it. And I think it is kind of exciting to kind of take stock and think about some soccer stuff for a while.

But, I mean, also just the U.S. roster, I don't know.

It's a fun roster in a way that, you know, some names, some names that are fun.

I will be transparent here and say that just yesterday, I was thinking to

myself, okay, you know, roster is coming out. It's going to be a roster. We're going to talk about it.

Probably going to see the same names. And of course, that is like the easiest way to invite the

universe to show you how wrong you are. Because one, Naomi Gma's back, maybe a bit more expected because she's

been playing a bunch with Chelsea, but it's still nice to just see the name, you know,

first time this calendar year. But biggest surprise, undisputed, Lo, Labanta on the U.S.
