Nancy Miller sets her shows outside of the L.A. New York universe, and I think gives

her her shows a deeper sense of character as a result of that. Her newest show, Saving Grace

on T&T, set in Oklahoma City. It's about a cop who happens to be bedeviled by an angel.

Nancy, first of all, thanks for being here.

Thank you, Elvis. And tell the audience a little bit about this show because it really is a fascinating take on cop drama.

It's really a story about this woman who has no relationship with God.

She's a cop, a detective in Oklahoma City who sees the worst of humanity every day.

And this angel comes to her and tells her, you better get your stuff together.

Because if you don't, you're headed to a place you don't want to go.

And Grace hasn't really thought about God in a long time.

So this shakes up her world.

It's also a show, too, I think, in a lot of ways, about the aftermath of the Oklahoma City bombing

and how it really happens to be a city that's kind of beset by the repercussions of that still all these years later, isn't it?

Absolutely.

I was here when the Oklahoma

City bombing happened, and I didn't leave my house for three days. I just sat in front of my TV

and wept. I knew people in that building, and I knew some of the rescuers, and it's a story that I wanted to tell.

I've never been so proud of my home state and so heartbroken at the same time.
