13 days now to the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie, the investigation hitting a new fracture point.

Federal law enforcement sources confirming to Reuters, Fox News Digital, and News Nation that Pima County Sheriff

Chris Nanos is blocking the FBI from accessing key physical evidence, routing it to a private

Florida lab instead of the FBI's Quantico facility.

Nanos denies it saying that's all bunk calling the report not even close to the truth to understand what this kind of friction means from the inside of the Bureau for the evidence, the investigation, and Nancy, which I feel like with all of the chaos, we're starting to lose track of what this is about.

Right.

We are joined by retired FBI special agent Jennifer Coffin-Daffer.

Jennifer, welcome. I'm very happy that you are here on this morning when this is the headlines

that are breaking out. Jen, the FBI source told several places that the disputed evidence, the glove found inside

Nancy's home, the DNA samples represents basically all the evidence in a case so far.

And Nano sent it to a private lab in Florida.

And the FBI wanted it at Quantico.

For people trying to understand why this matters, what does the FBI's lab offer on a case

like this that a contracted private lab simply can't?

And what about time and effort and why, what the hell's going on, I guess, is the big question.

Well, geez, there's so much to break down.

First, I want to give caution because remember, this was the glove.

So we're talking about three gloves.
