My name's Andrew. Thanks for joining me. Tonight I'll be reading Nancy Drew and the Secret of the Old Clock by Carolyn Keen. Chapter 19 to 21.

In the previous chapters, after Nancy was left hopeless inside a locked cupboard of the Topham Summer

House, she was thankfully found by the caretaker, Jeff Tucker. After giving his side of the story,

she encouraged him to join her to the police station so they could follow the trail of the robbers

as quickly as possible.

Once they had the police on side, Nancy and the Marshal split off in opposite directions to cover ground,

and hesitantly rolling up to a dingy roadhouse, Nancy was stunned to find the three robbers were waiting at the bar.

Before we begin tonight's story, let's get ourselves ready for sleep.
