My name's Andrew. Thanks for joining me. Tonight I'll be reading Nancy Drew and The Secret of the Old Clock by Carolyn Keane.

Chapters 24 and 25, the final chapters.

In the previous chapters, Nancy narrowly avoided having the marshal discover her stolen clock

and rushed home to tell her father the news of her adventure. Discovering inside the notebook

that the missing will was located in a safety deposit box at the bank, Nancy and her father quickly made preparations

to retrieve it the next day. After securing it, Carson warned his daughter not to get her hopes

up, worrying that until the document was thoroughly checked, he couldn't be sure it was legal.

And so Nancy was left eagerly awaiting her father's verdict.
