0:06.2	episode hopefully today, but it is one for you Southern Baffes out there. We're going to talk about the
0:10.0	North American Mission Board and some controversial things that happened in the last week.
0:16.1	I think the issue is actually corruption, lack of transparency, lack of accountability,
0:21.5	dishonesty, backdoor deals.
0:23.6	These are the kinds of things that are wrecking SBC institutions.
0:28.1	It's not so much the issues themselves
0:32.2	that are being fought over as it is, how they're, the assumptions
0:38.0	that are being brought to that fight, that people who actually pay into this aren't able to hold these institutions accountable.
0:45.0	That's a real problem.
0:47.0	And that you don't, lack of transparency, you don't need to know really what we're doing.
0:52.0	We trust us, you you know and if you
0:54.0	question that you're the enemy though these are the kinds of things that are
0:57.0	wrecking the SBC and and we're talking about a controversy that took place
1:01.4	mostly last week on women pastors in the
1:05.0	S. B. C. in contradiction to the Baptist faith and message who were being funded by
1:09.6	the North American Mission Board. That means if you're going to a Southern Baptist
1:12.0	Church you're paying money into this North American Mission Board. That means if you're going to a Southern Baptist Church, you're paying money to the
1:16.2	Co-opitor Program, some of it's going to this kind of thing. And it's against the statement of faith that you hold,
1:20.8	and that's a real, problem and I've seen I saw it
1:26.3	reminds me on a smaller scale of an organization that I was in in my teens
1:31.6	that it was like a youth organization that the parents kept making these
