Hello, indeed, we are back for a brand new series, and tonight it's our Naked Scientist Science Q&A program, an hour of your science questions on any subject.

And Helen, who's also here with me, well help to answer them. And also we have Dave. Now, we're not going to introduce Dave quite yet because he's out at Hunsbury Park Primary School to do this week's kitchen science. More on that shortly. But anyway, I'm Chris Smith and we are the Naked Scientist. Helen, what else we've got coming up tonight? Well, yes, as always, on The Naked Scientists, we will be giving you the very latest rundown from the world of science, medicine and technology. So this week we will find out how, for the first time ever, scientists have watched an exploding star, and we'll hear about a jacket that thinks it's a chameleon changing the way it looks to improve your

mood and Dave will be coming in to tell us all about coming online telling us all about

the smart one probe that crashed into the moon and my story is are birds and bees really the

whole story of pollination thanks Helen and if you're in an experimental mood, then our kitchen science experiment will be right up your street. What you're going to need is a fizzy vitamin C tablet or perhaps some alka-seltz or some bicarbonative soda. Something fizzy, you'll need some cooking oil and something to make a bit of water go a nice colour. So some food colouring or maybe some ribena. That's kitchen science, which is coming up very, very shortly.

We'll also be catching up this week with the launch of the BA Festival of Science,

the UK's largest science festival.

It started up in Norfolk, and it happened yesterday,

and there was a world record-breaking attempt

to try to get as many people as possible inside a single bubble.

And Nikki Barnes will be joining us live from up in Norwich to tell us all about the

record breaking attempt later on in tonight's show.
