This week we're taking the show afloat because the quintessential way to see Cambridge where we're

based is from a flat bottom boat called a punt that you push along from one end

with a long pole and I think I can see ours has just arrived.

Indeed it has.

The river that we're going to pump down is of course the river

cam after which this city is named.

And the river cam actually flows past quite a few of Cambridge University's colleges.

Oh it's quite windy and that might be the least of our ways because we've now got to try and

board a punt without dropping ourselves or any of our recording equipment into the

cam which wouldn't be a good start to the program.

Hopefully once we get on the pond we're going to stop off at each of the colleges to pick

up passengers who are actually research fellows and will be finding out what they work
