| 0:00.0 | Careless ninks you make a viral podcast. |
| 0:26.9 | Welcome back to the Naked Bible Podcast. Today we begin a new topic and with it a |
| 0:39.1 | short series on a doctrine that most listeners will have heard of or experienced |
| 0:44.5 | firsthand. I think it would be difficult to find anyone who has spent any time |
| 0:49.6 | in a Christian church or any denomination who has not heard of the Lord's |
| 0:54.6 | supper, also known as communion or the Lord's table. But while most listeners |

| 1:45.1 | literal body and blood is somehow physically present in the bread and wine or |
| 1:51.1 | juice. Now this of course is the Roman Catholic conception of communion or |
| 1:57.0 | trans substantiation. That is where the bread and wine are transformed into the |
| 2:03.5 | flesh and blood of Jesus at communion. Really? Does the Bible ever say that in |
| 2:10.4 | connection with communion? Does Jesus or parts of Jesus really spend time even a |
| 2:16.9 | moment in a baked item or a cup or our stomachs? If we're receiving grace, why |
| 2:24.3 | does it have to come through our stomachs anyway? Do we expel part of Jesus when |
