Summary

Join Emily and Raymond on a rainy day in London’s Regent’s Park - with the legendary BBC Breakfast and BBC 5 Live broadcaster Naga Munchetty.

Naga revealed to us that, although she is the proud owner of two cats, she is in fact a dog person… although, Raymond’s not quite her size…

We found out all about Naga’s childhood in South London as the daughter of two nurses. She tells us how it felt to straddle two cultures as a child, why she won’t apologise for her intelligence and the importance of BBC Breakfast.

In Naga’s new book It’s Probably Nothing she draws on her own experience of being dismissed, undiagnosed and misdiagnosed to explores the devastating outcome of decades of ingrained medical misogyny.

It’s Probably Nothing: Critical Conversations on the Women's Health Crisis and What We Can Do About It is out now. You can buy your copy here!

As a listener to this podcast, you'll know that

0:39.3

Raymond and I are out and about an awful lot. We're also meeting lots of different dogs, either just in the

0:45.5

park or as our guests. And Raymond spends a lot of time exploring and sniffing on our walks. He loves a

0:52.3

woodland area, and he's also a huge fan of a roll around in the

0:56.2

long grass. But one thing I don't want to worry about is fleas and ticks. In fact, just talking

1:01.9

about it makes me and Raymond itchy. So if you have a dog, you should really check out the

1:08.0

Sorresto Flea and Tick Control Collar. What I really like is that it provides

1:12.4

seven to eight months of clinically proven protection against fleas and ticks in a single

1:17.0

application so there's no need to remember monthly treatments. So Sorresto is a smell-free, mess-free,

1:24.4

grease-free alternative to spot-ons. Available for both cats and dogs,

1:28.9

the Soresto collar effectively kills fleas and repels and kills ticks.

1:33.5

Plus, they've got collars for all sizes of dog,

1:36.6

so they've even got one for Tiny Raymond.
