I want to begin by saying I hope everyone who is

listening to us on our relatively new affiliate, WZPR 92.3 FM, the home of Salem Radio, on the

Outer Banks, is keeping their heads up and on a swivel. You're going to have a four-foot surge,

it looks like. A lot of high winds, tropical storm alert. Some people have been evacuated

to some of the Outer Bank Islands, but it is going to stay Hurricane Aaron pretty far off

of the shore, but we're thinking about that. And I'm going to talk with Governor Glenn Yonkin

a little bit later this hour as he prepares for tropical storm conditions down in the Norfolk, Virginia Beach area,

and Hampton Roads.

We'll get the latest from the governor of Virginia coming up a little bit later.
