Welcome back to the Nine Finger Chronicles podcast.

And today we're going to be talking with a friend of mine here from iowa he lives in the mecca of what some might call the the the mecca of the the white tail woods and that's the southern iowa right the where dreams come from part of the state right he he hunts in a really good he hunts and lives in a really good part of the state and he has the

ability to chase really big deer but it it hasn't always been that way and so today you're going to hear my buddy tom peplinsky

talk about the neighborhood he lives in the amount of work that he has to do in a given year

on the properties that he hunts you know what his strategy is like throughout the years.

And in the last two years, or three years, this guy has killed two, 200-inch deer.

And he's done it on not a lot of property, to be honest with you.

And so we talk about his technique, how he approaches the entire year, everything from the scouting,

identifying deer patterns and deer behavior, when he hunts, how he hunts, late season, early

season, you know, just the whole gamut of how he finds success.
