Hey Todd here for the prophecy pros and we're continuing to bust myths today.

I can't wait for you to hear what we're busing the myth that we're already in the kingdom.

Jeff, in the Old Testament, it talks a lot about this future kingdom, and we're going to get into that as well.

But there's a lot of people from kind of different schools of thought, different theological perspectives that teach and proclaim and think we are

currently right now in the kingdom. So that's the myth we're going to we're going to bust today.

And believe it or not, scripture gives us a lot of clarity on it if we dive in and take a look.

It does, Todd.

And that's one of the ways that we kind of need to begin by defining, you know, what is it we're talking about?

When they say that we're already in the kingdom, then they mean that somehow the kingdom is a spiritual sort of kingdom.

But it's the kingdom that the Bible

talks about God having. For example, when you pray the Lord's Prayer, what we call the Lord's

prayer, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, earth is in heaven. Well, that's what some believe

we're in that kingdom right now. So I guess,

you know, part of looking at this whole topic, we have to say, well, what are we saying when

we're saying that there is a kingdom of God? And I think it's important maybe Todd just to quickly

say at the beginning, we're not saying that God is not in control. We're not saying that he's not sovereign over everything, even over the evil that's taking place. It has

boundaries. There's nothing outside of God's power and his control. But when we talk about

the kingdom that Jesus talked about, all through the Gospelsels that Revelation 20 talks about, is that

kingdom happening right now? And that's the real question.

That is a great question. And it does bring up some areas of clarification that need to be

said. Like you said, God's sovereign. In one sense, he's, he's ruling over everything right now.
