0:14.0	A Real Discovery, I found this amazing book written in 1905 by Walter DeVoe called Mystic Words of Mighty Power.
0:24.7	It has some amazing passages in it and more importantly some affirmations and prayers.
0:30.7	And so I wanted to read some passages from this book, in particular those affirmations and prayers.
0:36.3	And I found many of these to be very resonant and
0:40.6	powerful I have found older prayers and affirmations sometimes to hit harder than a lot of the
0:46.5	ones that you hear today and if you follow my channel you know I'm a collector of prayers
0:51.6	and affirmations I love to play with them, to say them out loud,
0:56.3	to repeat them, to memorize them, and you will find that there are some affirmations and prayers
1:02.8	that mention God repeatedly throughout this work. And don't get triggered by that, because
1:09.9	the key emphasis in this book is for you to access your God power
1:15.3	and so I find that sometimes people get triggered by the use of certain words but if you can openly
1:21.5	accept it part of the affirmation process is opening yourself up to this power and when when you do, you find that these affirmations
1:29.8	work much better. And he explains this throughout the beginning of the book as to why you want
1:36.1	to embrace this incredible God power, explaining first that in the manifested word of omnipotence,
1:43.8	which is the visible universe, are written
1:45.9	the laws of God, and his laws are unchangeable and cannot be broken by any mortal will,
1:51.2	but they may be transgressed, and pain and sorrow are the result of transgression.
1:56.5	He goes on to explain that ye are the temple of the living god this statement from the bible proclaims a
2:04.0	living truth of so great an import that if its meaning were realized by humanity at large there would be no
2:09.6	longer suffering sorrow disease or the belief in death and everlasting damnation nor any poverty or injustice in the world the depth of
2:21.8	meaning contained in this sentence has very seldom been sounded by the human mind when the spirit of this one
