So hopefully this will be a great episode for all you crystal lovers.

The idea of sacred stones and crystals isn't new. We all know the lore of stones at sites such as

0:34.8

Stonehenge and Easter Island. And today's show we're going to discuss legends and lore around some

0:40.3

other sacred stones and crystals you might not have heard about. For example, did you know that

0:45.9

Scotland has its own stonehenge? In fact, they have two. Colonyce and Stennis. Both are older than

I know that there are sites and other areas of your France or so. Oh sure. But I didn't know about

1:45.6

that. I did not. Yeah, me neither. Now we need to add that to our travel list. Now, let's stay in

1:51.2

Scotland to discuss the stone of Skun or the stone of Destiny, which has been fought over since the

1:58.7

13th century, or maybe even earlier. For the origin story of this sacred stone, we have to travel

2:06.3

all the way back to Jacob from the Bible. In the book of Genesis, he has a dream where he's in the

2:12.5

house of God. While he has this transcending dream, he's resting his head on a stone. The

2:18.2

Prophet Jeremiah then takes the stone to Ireland where it was used at Tara to crown kings of Ireland.
