and the title is Wife and her friends. Mystery is my hobby. The night's story began one evening last spring. Inspector No Danten and I had gone again to San Francisco for a few days

vacation. Inspector barrels of that city had an unusually busy season and when he received

word that a murder had been committed in the suburban community

of Sausalito he asked us to investigate. We were glad to lend any assistance we could,

although of course we weren't aware of the conversation

that had taken place earlier that evening between the murdered man and his wife.
