I really don't care because I've been wanting to get a hold of this, and I did.

It just came in.

It's an article that was written in Civil War Times.

For the August 1961 issue, that would be volume three number five.

And it said exclusive in this issue, did Stanton plan Lincoln's murder?

But the cover photo is of Lafayette C. Baker, who was the head of the national detective police,

sort of like an FBI of the Times, at least for the Union Army.

And it said, was he poisoned in a vain attempt to silence him about the role of Stanton, others in plot?

Now, it was a bit of a setup. As I said, this is kind of out of sequence.

I had wanted to do a segment on Booth, which John Booth are looking for, and also another segment on a mystery woman who will never, ever be in the, shall we say, sanitized animals of American history,

but a woman who, if her exploits were portrayed in a novel or on the silver screen,

you might think them too fantastic to be real, but in fact they were.

Be that as it may, we go back to this article in the Civil War Times, August 1961 edition.
