1:18.4 | So Jimmy today we're talking about the mystery of weight loss, which is maybe some people think that might be a funny thing for us to talk about. |
1:27.4 | Well, it certainly was a mystery to me for a huge chunk of my life and I know it is for a lot of other folks. |
1:34.4 | You know, the holidays are over now and we've all eaten our share of special foods to celebrate and now people are making New Year's resolutions and I know one of the most popular for people every year is to diet and lose weight. |
1:46.4 | But a lot of the common diet strategy that people try to use doesn't work for them and losing weight can be incredibly difficult and why we gain weight is can be something of a mystery why it's so hard to lose and why it keeps coming back. |
2:05.4 | All of those are things that are quite mysterious to people, but based on my own experience, I thought I had something to say about them. |

2:46.4 | And it's actually good because you do want to talk to your doctor about these things because it's always, you know, we're always learning more and more about how our health works and how the various aspects of our health work. |
3:00.4 | But so Jimmy, you know, you said this is a personal important to you and some folks who know you know you online know that you've been doing very well with with weight loss lightly. |
3:15.4 | Can you tell everyone a little bit about your your background in and you're dealing with your weight? |
3:21.4 | Yeah. So originally when I was a child, I actually was quite thin. I remember being thin when I was seven years old, but then I started to gain weight during grade school and junior high at this time. |
3:34.4 | My favorite foods were full sugar coke and mustard sandwiches with white bread. |
