And I'm Antonia Dodge.

You know, we get a lot of email, a lot of messages, a lot of comments and feedback and questions about personality types and

romance. This is the season of romance. We're going to talk about it in the next few

podcasts and the question we often get is okay I'm this type and

they'll this you know somebody will give us their type they say okay what's my

perfect match what's my perfect romantic match for my type? Go! And it's like, well, type is one aspect of

compatibility and romance and getting together with somebody in a romantic way. There's all sorts of things that I think are way more important

which is shared values and the way you see the world and your cultural upbringing and

a lot of factors go into this type is one thing you can look at but to base who you're going to be attracted to or who

you're going to get into relationship with, who you're going to date, I think is nuts if you

look at it just through the lens of type.

So I think that's somewhat of a limited perspective to say on this type what who might be most compatible with that's our big disclaimer

We're gonna give some principles though on this podcast based on some things you might want to look at when you're looking at a partner in a romantic relationship.

Yeah, it's almost that same principle is when somebody wants to hire somebody in a company based entirely on their

personality type or their Myers-Briggs type. Yeah. That's almost always a

terrible idea. You want to find the best candidate, the most qualified candidate for the position.

But once you discover what personality type the person that is working for you is,

now you can relate to them a lot better.
