I'm landed and welcome to what went right,

what went wrong,

and what was missing against Texas on the road to go to Nashville for work this week.

So I'm literally in a not neat kind of ideal spot where we have been before.

But kind of looking at the results from what happened

last night, a lot of things to take away. And I know there's a lot of folks that before this

game were on the cliff, and I'm going to try my best to be the negotiator, trying to talk

everybody off the cliff if they're Mississippi State fan.

Last night was a rough game.

If you're a state fan, and in the same way, it's very odd.

It was kind of like, I've already been, I saw several people that were like, I've already

been so hurt, like I just feel numb to it at this point.

Mississippi State falls 45, 38 in overtime to Texas.

And a game where Mississippi State looked really good for, I don't know, three and a half quarters up until the very end.

And then really three quarters.

In the fourth quarter, Texas scores 24 unanswered points to tied up, to get overtime,

some special teams mistakes, a lot of things that kind of happened, kind of went in to Mississippi State losing the lead and eventually getting the game into overtime.

And honestly, it felt like the game, by the time the game was going into overtime, it felt as if, okay, I think this one is over with.

It just kind of felt like State had lost the momentum that they had previously gained at one point.

And all of a sudden, whenever that momentum started to kind of go away, you were left with the thought of, all right, well, I guess, I guess this is it.

So a lot of things to get to in today's game.
