What went wrong and what was missing for Mississippi State against Ole Miss.

Mississippi State falls in this game 38 to 19, even with all the distractions that Old Miss had.

State still was not able to overcome that or really even take advantage of that.

This was a game that while there was moments that the game was close

and maybe quote unquote in reach,

it really felt like Ole Miss had this game kind of securely in their hand.

But I think there were some positives to look for for Mississippi State, but honestly, it was kind of, it was a lot of what we've already expected because what we've already seen so far at Mississippi State.

The defense, while they had some moments where they were getting stops, the offense could not answer back.

And then all of a sudden it just kind of felt like the waters kind of went through in the dam failed and all of a sudden State was overwhelmed and could not answer back. And then all of a sudden just kind of felt like the waters kind of went through

I mean, wide receivers were running a lot open.

They're running in gaps.

But this scene here is very odd.

I mean, right behind me is, I'm sure, at this point you've seen the video,

old miss beat rider. There are so many insiders from around ESPN and on three that are in the

locker room right now waiting to talk to Lane Kiffin. A lot of crazy things happening. And yet,

here we are post game. We're going to get to Mississippi State, but there's a lot of crazy things happening. And yet, here we are post game.
