Welcome to the postgame show, Mississippi State, and Florida State Falls 23 to 21.

And this is a really unique position the Mississippi State seems to find themselves in.

I mean, the fan reaction to this one is a little bit different.

I mean, states lost 15 straight SEC games.

This one feels a little bit different.

And at the end of this game, I start kind of thinking back to my time.

So I was born and raised in Starville, moved to Alabama. So I'm in Alabama now in Tuscaloosa. So I'm still able to cover time. So I was born and raised in Starville, moved, moved to Alabama.

So I'm in Alabama now in Tuscaloosa.

So I'm still able to cover a cover state.

But Starville has always meant, you know, means a whole lot to me.

But a part of that is just because kind of where I was, I was raised, you know,

grandfather taught in Mississippi State.

And had my parents not met at Mississippi State in 1984, then I would not be feeling any of these things I'm feeling.

Just brutal.

I mean, there's no other way around it for Mississippi State.

This was a, this is a really brutal loss.

I can remember 2009 Mississippi State lost as Damon Mullen's first year,

stayed on four straight times from the one yard line,

could not get in the end zone.

State loses to LSU 30 to 26.

That one hurt.
