Welcome to the Monday edition of the show.

We're talking to Mississippi State Baseball as the regional kind of schedule for Starkville has been released.

Of course, you already know, as of yesterday, Mississippi State is a regional host.

And then we found out earlier today,

kind of who will be in Starkville for the Startville Regional. A lot of things to unpack here,

what I really want to be able to do is look at each individual team and kind of just give a preview.

You had never seen these teams before. This would hopefully give us some kind of context in terms of what these teams can

kind of do well, some of their history, so that we can kind of make a fair assessment

for this weekend in Starple, which is huge.

And then on our show later in the week, on Thursday, we'll kind of walk through kind of

a preview of our, pardon me, a prediction show where we will also talk about some other regionals around the SEC and around the nation.

So a lot of good stuff to get to.

And look, Mississippi State gets to host a regional.

And we said in the beginning, you know, if state is able to host again in an Oaks first year, I think a lot of people look at that as a success.

then, you know, yesterday morning, Saturday night, there were some rumblings, okay, well, what happens if Mississippi State doesn't host at all? I mean, what's, what's that possibility? If the state's, you know, a two seat on the road, what does that look like?

You know, it's kind of odd to think, okay, well, then all of a sudden the state not a successful team after all, a lot of kind of back and forth.

And so finally, it is released in Mississippi State will be hosting in Starkville this weekend versus some very interesting teams, one of which they've already seen this season,

then two other teams that just the best way I can put it is there's a tough matchup for Mississippi State, and I think there's a very chaotic matchup for Mississippi State,

depending on Cincinnati and Louisiana, kind of which way you go with that.
