We're filming this at 11.06 p.m. right after the game is going final.

And Mississippi State has found their way to the super regionals.

Mississippi State sweeps through the Starkville Regional with, honestly, with relative ease.

I mean, scoring, you know, based 39 runs in three games.

And, you know, beating Lipscomb 10-1, Cincinnati to 10-5, and then Louisiana, the most dominant win, 19 to 5.

And I think, you know, a big part of it we'll talk about in today's episode is Mississippi State offensively really, really was humming and kind of found a pretty consistent

kind of rhythm throughout.

But having the pitching be as really dominant as they were in this game,

or in the series rather, having Valentis and then having McPherson coming back today you know a lot of people forget

but McPherson right McPherson before his injury was the Friday night guy I mean he was looked at as your

Friday night starter this is here leaning on the injury now all of a sudden you you come

in a situation where Duke Stone is your number two and and then McPherson's a pretty unbelievable three.

Well, now you go to Georgia for, you know, the fifth and sixth,

or at least guaranteed games against them this season.

Mississippi State has not beaten Georgia.

I mean, they have lost all four games against Georgia, three in the series

and Star Bowl one in the SEC tournament. But it's not like Georgia's been some dominating

force against them. And then you have Trey Phelps for Georgia today getting suspended,

at least for one game for his antics, so to speak, with taunting going around the base path.

I'll say this, and again, we've got a lot to get into for today.
