Welcome to the Thursday edition of the show.

We're talking Mississippi State baseball as the Bulldogs have a big matchup with Vanderbilt there in Duty Noble this weekend.

And happy tournament Thursday for all of you who filled out brackets.

Thank you so much to everybody who joined in in our bracket challenge. I think we, we were right at 60 or a little over 60 folks join. Uh, really cool. Of course, that is, uh, presented by, uh, hovey hat somewhere in a hovey hat right now. The winner of that bracket challenge gets two free hats of their choosing. It can be hovey. Man, I've been gone to the mountains all week and didn't bring my computer on Sunday. I realized it. And then I thought, you know what? Good. I'll just

enjoy some time with family. But I hope you guys have been doing well. The Bulldogs, of course,

dropped their match up to Arkansas, but now have a chance to redeem themselves after they did not

take advantage of some of the, some of the opportunities. Of course course they had a very easy win over jackson state

uh 17 to 1 on tuesday in the midweek and now they have a game to start our starting tomorrow

night a series against the commodores of uh of vanderbilt and you know for for mississippi state

we'll kind of get into what that matchup looks like with this Vanderbilt team.

Of course, I mean, you know, Vandy's been so dominant for several years.

And this season is just a little bit of a different team than we've seen so far out of them.

So some things to kind of look at, of course, I mean, they, you know, they won their,

their opening weekend matchup against LSU and won that one, two to one, and they dropped

in the midweek against Indiana on Tuesday.

So we're going to go over that, go over kind of what makes this Vanderbilt team tick,

of course, Mississippi State football practice, spring practice. They had one day for the media.

And I was unfortunately in the mountains for that day. So I was not able to go out and see

practice. Of course, you know, we saw practice last year and we're able to to see some things,

but like, you know, they're not going to show you a lot in 25 minutes of drills.
