Welcome to the Thursday edition of the show.

Mississippi State beats Missouri, run rules Missouri, and we'll take on the Georgia Bulldogs

at 3 p.m. a little bit later on today, Thursday, the 21st.

Mississippi State looked really good, especially there in the sixth inning.

Really, you know, State starts, flingt us.

We're going to talk about the kind of the decision there.

But then kind of how state looked throughout, and now you kind of set up this meeting with Georgia,

a team that, you know, Mississippi State played earlier in the season,

had a very close opening game, loses 10 to 9,

comes back and loses 3 to 1, and then 8 to 5 minutes, swept by Georgia.

But not the worst they've looked.

I mean, I would make the argument they looked worse the next weekend in which they got swept versus Tennessee.

Both like both series were at home, and yet state still found a way to get swept.

But this is a new part of the season, and, you know, Georgia has, you know, since that time,

we'll kind of get into what they have looked like since then, but look, here's what you really need to know about Georgia.

They have the coach of the year in West Johnson.

They have the SEC player of the year in Daniel Jackson, the catcher.

He's a triple crown winner now at this point.

He was unbelievable, man.

394 batting average, 27 home runs, and 77 RBIs.

And obviously, Mississippi State fans got a taste of what he could do earlier on in the season,
