And man, Austin, you know, it is Egg Bowl Week.

We've already been covering several different topics regarding the Egg Bowl.

But, man, we have a very special guest with us today.

Mississippi State great.

Vic Ballard is joining us today, a guy that has some success in two Egg Bowls.

Vic was a running back from Mississippi State on into the NFL, transferred in from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College.

What's amazing about Vic is even just playing two seasons at Mississippi State,

he still to say is third on the career rushing touchdown list and owns the single season

touchdown record for 19 touchdowns in a single season.

So Vic, man, thank you so much for giving us some of your time today.

I know that's certainly valuable. And it's Egg Bowl Week, man. Can you go back to your time as a player? What did it mean whenever it will finally, you know, Sunday turned into Saturday night, turn into Sunday, and all of a sudden it's officially Egg Bowl Week. Yeah, it kind of starts the beginning of a new season. It's like everything you did prior lead up to their point. It really didn't matter.

And, you know, for me and for the player specifically, it was bragging rights for the whole year.

There was our opportunity to, you know, hoist that trophy at the end of the game.

And like I said, just, you know, talk smack to all your friends at the school up north.

Well, and obviously, you had a lot of success against them. You know, when you think about, think about this, this rivalry week, even today,

like after your time in college has gone on, what did this, like, even today, what does the

Egg Bowl mean to you now? When you kind of think back and look back on on some of those memories like all the different things that were going on with all the guys talking to each other that maybe played against each other in the state you know even looking back on it today because you know it means so much to so many different people the result of that game yeah for me for me personally, it's kind of like a reminder of my glory days, you know,

when I was in my best physical shape.

And I know for the state of Mississippi and, you know, for Mississippi State fans in particular,

you know, one, it's a time that, you know, people think of whenever they think of Thanksgiving because it's always played around Thanksgiving. And, you know, one, it's a time that, you know, people think of whenever they think of Thanksgiving,
