And we're talking Mississippi State baseball. Mississippi State drops the series 2 to 1 to Texas.

They're in Austin this weekend.

In a really interesting game to kind of decide it all on Sunday, Mississippi State gives up nine runs.

You heard me correctly, nine runs in one inning to end up beating Mississippi State to give up nine.

State opens that game with five runs in the first, and you're winning five nothing.

You go, okay, well, hey, we got something going.

Texas scores nine runs in the third, and state just cannot catch up the rest of the way.

Really, really, just a kind of a crazy game on both sides.

I mean, rarely do you have five runs in the opening inning.

And then to give up nine runs in an entire inning is insane.

We'll talk about what that looked like.

Then we'll also talk about

Mississippi State's kind of path going forward. We've got two more SEC series, and then that

will finish out the season, the regular season rather, for Mississippi State and kind of position

them after this weekend. They're two-one lost to Texas. They're now 14 and 10 in the SEC.

They're 36 and 12 overall, but in a top 10

matchup, they dropped the, drop the series there to Texas. We'll talk about that, talk about

a little bit more. Of course, last Tuesday, Mississippi State got the win over Ole Miss.

We didn't get a chance to talk Thursday, but it went right into the weekend series. And so

you feel good about what you were able to do against Ole Miss the season.

But, you know, I think even Mississippi State fans that don't like Ole Miss would tell you,

like that's not really their main priority is just to, you know, be better at Old Miss, you know,
