You know, in the NFL season, after the season ends, that Monday is called Black Monday,

because of all the head coaches that are being let go around the league.

And, you know, college football has something similar.

But for college baseball, it would be weird to call this day Black Monday for college baseball because not many teams let go with their coach at this point in the season.

However, Mississippi State has chosen to do so.

Chris Lamonis let go today after his 232 and 135 record in start bowl in six plus seasons.

He did bring them a national title in 2021, made three NCAA tournaments

and two college world series.

We'll talk about this in just a moment after we get finished with our initial intro to the show, but we'll be talking about Chris Limonis and where Mississippi State goes next. Justin Parker is serving the associate, the assistant coach, pitching coach will serve as the interim head coach for the rest of the season. Put a pin in that.
