Welcome to the Friday edition of the show.

And we're talking about Mississippi State and the transfer portal today.

We're talking about Ole Miss versus Mississippi State basketball, which is going to be tomorrow.

But it would be it would be irresponsible for me to get in here and talk about Mississippi State and the transfer portal without talking about kind of the biggest thing going around Mississippi State at the moment.

And that is the number one offensive tackle in the transfer portal.

When it started out, I think he was the number four overall player in the portal, Jordan Seton, the offensive tackle from Colorado.

Not only was he in the portal, not only was he going to Texas, he ended up canceling his

visit to Texas, and he ended up in Starkville, Mississippi last night.

And it caught a lot of people, I mean, for those of you with lives, you're fine, but

it caught everybody else on social media on Twitter, Josh Pates of the world, by absolute

surprise when Pete Thammell tweeted out that Jordan Seton was indeed in Starkville because, and

here's kind of the main reason why what we're going to get into today is that the asking

price on Jordan Seton over the past couple of days has been saying that the bidding will start at $2.5 million.

And the narrative around Mississippi State football specifically is that state doesn't have any cash,

you know, kind of that poor old state mentality of, oh, we'll never be there.

And just the fact that Jordan Seton's on campus proves that's not it.

Robbie Falk of on 3 mentioned that Mississippi State will have the financial resources to pay Jordan Seton.

It seems as if if Seton ends up elsewhere, it's not going to be cash related.

But the reason he's even on campus at all, I think, would be because of his former

offensive line coach, Phil Lodholt.

Obviously, Jeff Levy's an offensive, former offensive lineman himself.
