Not even in my wildest dreams, could I even imagine that one day I would have the opportunity to share a message at BYU.

I feel so fortunate to have the opportunity to address you.

At the end of the 90s, and even though I'm well aware that many of you were not even born,

let me clarify that this is not ancient history, okay?

Anyway, during this time, I had the opportunity to apply to the Marriott School at BYU.

And while waiting for my application's answer, I was called to serve as a bishop in Chile.

When this happened, I knew in my heart that we were not going anywhere.

Well, the long-for answer from BYU arrived. And guess what? I was not accepted. I was

rejected. Then, many years later, there was an issue with my daughter's application to

BYU, so she was not accepted.

Also, my son applied to BYU, but he was not accepted.

Yeah, quite a record in the family.

Well, I guess not all the good people needs to come to BYU.
