Summary

Did you know that once a month we are doing a mentor episode? We will cover a different topic each month in hopes to provide helpful content for you and your local mentor.

1) listen to the episode

2) talk about it with a mentor or friend that is a season ahead of you

If you’re just getting started - don’t miss the first few episodes:

I am so delighted to give you life coach Elaine Franklin on the podcast today. She is 77 years young and has been mentoring women and couples for decades. Her passion for stewardship and time management is so evident. She is practical and wise and gives me hope that we can spend our days wisely in 2026.

My favorite part is when she talks about how to create margin in our lives. I do believe time management is one of the most critical things we can address in our families. How we spend our time matters. It can impact the sanity of our homes. It can help us focus on what matters most.

Enjoy!

Courtney

Welcome to 2026.

0:19.7

It's New Year's Day when I'm offering this or publishing it,

0:22.8

but you may listen to it later. But doesn't 2026 sound like the Jetsons or like just like in movies

0:29.7

when they're like far, far in the future in the modern world? Here we are. 26 feels bizarre.

0:35.2

But I don't know about you. But every year, I'm like, this is the year. I'm going to

0:39.6

take this out of my calendar. This is the year we're going to be more sane. This is the year we're

0:43.9

going to be home more. And these are really important conversations. And so I have on, I'm so

0:49.3

excited, Elaine Franklin, who is longtime life coach and mentor of so many people that I know she is just a legend,

0:58.1

especially in the Atlanta area. And she is 77 years young. And she's like major life goals.

1:05.1

I hope I'm as wise and as put together and as thoughtful and as purposeful and intentional with my life at 77

1:12.9

as she is. And so she talks all about time management. I lost my turn of thought. Time management

1:19.9

and stewarding our time and gets really, really practical. And so as we look back to the beginning

1:26.4

of the year every month, if you didn't know,

1:29.0

I did my virtual mentor, which basically means at the very beginning of the month, there is an

1:33.3

episode that I think is really, really important that you can listen to and then go meet

1:37.8

with a local mentor or friends. Somebody just a season ahead of you to say like, hey, this is

1:42.7

important. What am I going to do about it?
