Hi, Dr. Laura. I am 24 years old. I have never had a boyfriend. I've never had sex and I'm having a difficult time trying to find.

I never had sex. I can get with but 324 to go through high school and college and I never have a boyfriend.

Sort of have to work to make that truth. So why do you think you've never had a boyfriend?

Well, because I never thought I was ready for a relationship and I guess I was very focused on work. I've been working since I was 7.

And so just work has always been a priority in it.

I'm sorry. What do you mean you've been working since you were 7 with your child labor laws?

I'm an actress. So I've just been working since then. Yes, one of those.

And it just always seemed unfair even in high school because I was working on my professional career and also trying to have a successful academic career.

I didn't want to be unfair to somebody and try to take on another person and say I can get to be able to do that.

That was smart and responsible.

And so are you still working as an actress? Yes, ma'am.

And do you desire to keep that going? Well, I don't know. I don't know if this is.

I mean, I'm successful enough to support myself. Not a lot of people know who I am and I actually really like that.

And if I can keep this up and have a stable life for myself and I don't think I'm ready to be married right now at 24, but if I could keep this up and have a relationship.

And then when it's time to be married, I would love to be a present mother. I don't want to be doing this for the rest of my life.

I would like to prepare myself for becoming a mother.

So I don't know if that answers your question, but I would like to do this until mother.

And what is your question for me?

My question for you is, I guess this part of myself, this part that craves intimacy or this part that I guess I've had this idea of saving for the man who's right for me.

It's starting to feel like a burden and I'm starting to feel like there's fear in myself of possibly being intimate with another person or having a relationship.
