If you've been listening for any length of time, you know that at points, I like to go over certain characters or story arcs or periods of time or whatever it is in the world of professional

wrestling and I knew that when John Cena announced his retirement that we were going to have

to do a complete breakdown of the career of John Cena. There are so few people that have a

23 year story arc that all take place inside the

WWE without any significant breaks. It's all the story of one character. And there is a very

clear beginning, middle, and end. And I thought that this was so important that I quickly realized

that there was no way that I was going to do this all in one show, that I was going to have to

put out a special series. So here we are. When we left off, John Sina had been cemented as the top guy in the W.E. His feuds with

Randy Orton, Edge, and Batista had been incredibly foundational. His ability to beat giants like

Umaga and the great Kali added to the legend of John Sina never giving up.

And John's ability to walk in to a hometown crowd of CM Punk Edge or even an ECW audience

that was there to see Rob Van Dam and charged past all of it made Sina Sina.

Whether it was an opponent or the audience themselves, John Sina was ready for any and all

challengers.

That was until a legend from the past showed up.

The Rock returned to the W.W.E. after seven years.

He spent a year in change roasting John Sina, informing the audience of every fault that John had, praying on the

insecurity that John Sina would never be the next rock. And it all led to their

WrestleMania match. Once in a lifetime where the Rock beat John Cena.

WrestleMania closed with Sina despondent and depressed,
