with my family, but we've put together a little Q&A compilation, which you can usually only find

I recently found out that my husband has a porn addiction. He is very remorseful and wants to get

help, but I can't help feeling angry and betrayed. Do you have any advice from me in this situation?

The first advice should be to recognize that he is remorseful and that you are his wife,

and that forgiveness is a part and element of growing in a relationship, and it is the greatest

thing in the world that he's actually remorseful, because imagine if you're a person with a guy who

was like, hey, that's my right to watch porn, oh, man, watch porn. A lot of women are dealing

with that sort of thing, which means that there can be no path forward. What I would do is I would

talk to him about what he wants to do to try to fix that. As I am told again, we have this discussion

on backstage, obviously me and Matt Walsh and Ben and Jeremy, it's a lot more difficult for a man

to find ways to get over their sexual urges. I talked to you guys yesterday actually about

on the All Access Live about that book, EO Wilson, on Human Nature, and it talks about how there's

biology that underpins all of our decisions, and that it's harder for a man to remain

monogamous, because their instinct or biological instinct is to constantly spread their

seed to increase their pack size. You might disagree with that. I'm not condoning his behavior

what I am saying is that we do know that men and women tick differently, and that men have a

way higher sexual appetite than women do in most circumstances. In fact, what he wants to get

better is amazing, in fact, what he's talking to you about it, and maybe talking to him about what

he can do when he gets the urge to watch pornography and allowing yourself also to feel the hurt of
