Hello.

My name is April Farmer.

And on Thursday, November 28th, 2018, it was Thanksgiving Day, one of my

favorite holidays. But on this particular holiday, I was returning home from a surgery that I'd had

scheduled for that week. And so when I got home, my sons had made dinner for myself and my husband,

I tried to do right by him and teach them how to cook, and they did very well. It was a great meal.

And we had a wonderful day. And so I rested well that night and that Friday morning. I woke up and

enjoyed the day, enjoyed great Thanksgiving leftovers as most of us do that next Friday.

And at about 7 p.m., I was tired and ready to go to bed. So I go upstairs and I sit down on my bed.

And the moment my body hit the bed, my head started hurting really bad. In fact, it was an excruciating headache. It was the most

terrible headache that I'd ever had in my entire life. And so I started to find myself just holding

my head in my hand because I couldn't understand why my head was hurting so badly.

And so I called out for my husband, David, and I said, you got to call 911.

And it felt like it took forever for them to get to the house.

It was just the longest time ever.

And once they arrived, they did what they normally do.

They check all your vitals. And they checked for my blood pressure. And they realized that it was sky high. My blood pressure was through

the roof. And so they loaded me up on the gurney, preparing to take me to the hospital. And I don't
