Long story short, I found out and sent stepmom a really mean email, but it was a mean email coming from an immature eight-year-old who didn't understand the complexity of the situation. I feel like it would be really unfair to write me off because of something that I did when I was eight, but I digress. Continuing on, due to my biological mother's mental health issues, I was not a part of my dad's life until I was 15. When I was reunited with him, I was genuinely excited to meet his wife and my half-brother. |
