My stepbrother copies everything I do, so I refuse to graduate out of spike.

I, 17, female, have parents that divorced when I was three due to my dad cheating on her with my mom's brother's girlfriend.

For a while, everything was fine, but after a few years of living there with them, I started to notice that

everything I would do, my stepbrother tried to do as well. A little copycat.

R slash Okie Storytime subreddit. So I thought it was nice to be looked up to until I realized he was trying

to one up me in everything. I noticed this when he would comment on every little thing I did

wrong and then loudly shout everything he did right and how much better he was at it. Every party

we had celebrating one of my achievements, he would make it about himself and try to gain

the attention of anyone who asked me about what I had achieved. In Intermediate, I was fed up with

if I ever did something, I wouldn't inform him or my stepmother. Keep it secret. Keep it safe.

The only person I would tell anything to was my dad as I was still his little girl, being the only daughter amongst nine children. Wow. Six biological brothers and two-step. My dad supported me through all of this and always looked for my perspective on things. This worked for seventh grade, but because of a celebration party I had with the program and all families were invited, my stepbrother joined the following year.

Lucky for me, all of the different things were already filled with other students, and he could only join me in one thing, which was softball.
