this is a very long story so i'll try to be as brief as possible.

My grandparents are approaching 90 and both have recently started to be affected by Alzheimer's.

My brother has been helping them for several years, especially after our parents died.

My grandparents have always been very active, very healthy, very independent people and I thought it was ridiculous that my brother would bring their meals, shovel their walkway, mow the lawn, help them to doctor's appointments, etc. because they were perfectly able to handle that themselves.

My brother was given medical and durable power of attorney, which was
