0:10.0	I had a conversation with a friend of mine recently who I know loves books just like me and we've always had this love of reading in common we share books, recommend books, but over the last couple of years I noticed that she's been pretty much leaning straight into fiction,
0:25.0	which I also love. But of course my work is self-help in the personal development world,
0:30.0	and reading self-help books is probably my favorite thing to do.
0:34.4	Like if it's go out for a really lovely fun evening
0:36.4	or stay home and read a self-help book,
0:38.1	it's literally a 50-50 for me.
0:39.8	I can go either way.
0:41.2	And self-help books for me give me this endless supply of
0:45.0	inspiration, this endless supply of connecting to myself in the deepest way, this
0:49.9	endless supply of ideas, thoughts, beliefs that I want to continue to nurture.
0:55.0	And when I spoke to my friend about this recently, I'm like,
0:58.0	we know, what are you reading?
0:58.5	Any good books like any good non-fiction?
1:01.0	And she said this to me.
1:02.0	She said, you know, I don't read those books
1:05.2	anymore because they all say the same thing and I was first of all like whoa
1:11.9	stab at the heart, what?
1:14.0	How can this be true?
1:17.0	You're giving up the best thing in the world.
1:20.0	But she's right.
1:22.0	Right?
