God often uses specific scriptures to guide you to himself and his perfect will.

These life verses are really guidepost for the journey.

Today we join Scott Pauli in looking at some of these passages. It is our prayer that you will enjoy the journey.

Some people choose a life verse, and that's their verse all of their life, literally.

For me, it's been a verse that God has used at different seasons of my life,

so it's changed along the way, a progression, if you will, on my journey.

And in recent months, God has led me to a verse that I am taking as my second half verse.

I'm claiming this verse and I'm praying this verse for my own life.

It's Acts chapter 20 and verse number 24.

The Apostle Paul is nearing his own finish line.

The goal was not Jerusalem.

That's just another step on the greater journey.

The goal was the nail-pierced feet of Jesus.

The goal was to finish his course with joy.

Soon he's going to behold the one that he first saw on the road to Damascus.

And he wants to finish well.

The famous verse, 2 Timothy 4-7, he writes near the end of his life,

I have finished my course.

Well, that could never have taken place if years before he had not determined he was going

to finish well.

And so I bring you to Acts 2024.

The Bible says, but none of these things move me.
