0:50.8	Melissa, welcome to the program. Hey Dr. Laura, thank you for taking my call. I've been a long time
0:58.4	listener and a first-time caller. I found myself very nervous. I feel like my heart rate and my
1:03.7	blood pressure is spiking right now. So, I apologize if I'm long-winded, which I tend to be.
1:10.9	That's all right. I was hoping you could help me resolve some anger issues that I have from
1:17.2	with my mother. I'll start off by explaining. Growing up, my dad was a good dad, but he struggled
1:29.4	most of his life with drug addiction and alcohol. So, my childhood, although I remember it being
1:37.5	happy, there were a lot of traumatic times because my mom and dad fought a lot because of my father's
1:44.1	issues. I remember being happy with my siblings and playing and things like that. And you know,
1:53.2	we had a good relationship with my siblings. I was always fed and cleaned. But then it seems like
2:00.4	when I got, I was the youngest of six. So, as I got older, my parents really just didn't have
2:07.6	many rules. And really kind of allowed us to do whatever we really wanted to do. So, as a result
2:15.1	of that, at 12, I started going out with my siblings. They would go to like little high school
2:22.0	parties and I would tag along. And I started drinking alcohol, you know, at a young age.
